If it's too wet and greasy to ride Wolcott and the dump loops head 28 minutes north to McCoy. More technical than Rifle, tight, rocky, sand washes, turn track, some ledges, water crossings, excellent for training, terrain has a lot of DG mix so handles rain really well. Try riding under the train tacks to the river for a dip, good camping, single track both sides of the road. If you exit @ Dotsero and drive the back way through Burns to McCoy you will dig the beautiful drive. Careful riding, lots of dual directional single track. Seems like the flow is usually clock wise.
